The Vickers Mark 6 is an early Cold War era dual purpose naval gun of UK origin. It was developed as a successor to older World War 2 designs. Key improvements were higher rate of fire, anti-aircraft capability and off mount fire control using a director.

The automatic loading system allows for a rate of fire of 24 rpm. In practice it proved not very reliable and manual loading at 12 rpm was the practice. Maximum range is 19 km against surface targets and 12 km against aircraft.
